Sanaa Lathan To Play Spaceship Captain On Voyage To Mars
In an upcoming indie film titled Ad Inexplorata, Sanaa Lathan will play Captain Emily Maddox, leader of one of four space ships heading to Mars. Mark Strong has been cast as the lead, a NASA pilot also heading to Mars on a solo mission. The movie is being produced by the two Beasts of the Southern Wild producers Josh Peen and Matt Parker (Deadline). The film is to be directed by Mark Strong, winner of the 2014 Sundance Institute/NHK (Japan Broadcasting Corporation) Award which provides support for visionary filmmaker based on his or previous work.
