Issa Rae has created an all new web series titled The Choir for AlrightTV. Alright TV announced an initiative to make faith friendly web programming earlier this year. They have put out a number of productions including Sports Dads, Take Action, Real Talk, Playmakers, Dormtainment, Walk This Way, and Mr. and Ms. Right. Tracey Edmonds is AlrightTVs award winning producer whose resume includes Soul Food, College Hill, and Jumping The Broom. With her background the online network stands a chance at producing some of the best quality web programming, especially for Black audiences.
In collaboration with Issa Rae, AlrightTV presents The Choir, a series that follows the members of a church choir whose members range from “thirsty” youngsters who could care less about masking their intentions, to stalwart church folk.
