La La’s Full Court Life Recap 3×06
Bienvenido a Puerto Rico! The first place we see La La, Po, and Dice is poolside beneath a cabana where they discuss plans for the weekend, enjoy frozen beverages, and get freaked out by the giant iguanas roaming the pool area. This is followed by La La’s family reunion with lots of dancing food, and live music. La La is able to reconnect with her extended family in Puerto Rico and also introduce her son Kiyan to many relatives for the first time.
The whole crew is in town because each year, the Carmelo Anthony foundation dedicates a new basketball court to the youth of Puerto Rico. Added to this year’s festivities is a celebrity softball game featuring stars Amar’e Stoudemire, Fat Joe, and Bernie Williams. Although the softball game gets rained out, Carmelo Anthony still takes the opportunity to thank the crowd for coming out and introduce his friends who came all the way from New York. And to round out the weekend, the ribbon cutting ceremony at the basketball court dedication goes off without a hitch!
With the rained out softball game behind them, La La proceeds to the beach with her mom, Po, Dice, and Kiyan where they take advantage of sunny skies and La La has an experience with an umbrella where she exclaims “I’ve never been to a beach like this. Why isn’t this open already?”
Between a stroll with Kiyan around old San Juan and all of the charitable festivities scheduled, La La manages to make her trip to Puerto Rico about both business and pleasure.
