Belles, A New Sitcom,To Debut February 1st On TVOne
A new series called Belle’s is debuting tomorrow, February 1 at 10/9c on the TVOne network. The show revolves around Bill Cooper whose decreased wife has left him with a family to care for. and an upscale soul food restaurant to run.
Here is the description of the first episode from TVOne:
Episode 1: One Big Happy Family BELLE’Sâ Restaurant is rented out by the Crawford family to host their reunion. Bill is tormented when he finds out that the family once owned Belleâs family during slavery.
In the clip below show star Keith David, who plays Big Bill Cooper, talks about his character. He explains that his wife died and left him with a restaurant, 3 daughters, and a very cranky sister-in-law.
