BET Announces The Game Will Be Back For An 8th Season
Fans of the long running BET series The Game will be mourning the end of season 7, which concluded last night. It is tough to wait a full year to see the next episode of a beloved show in the age of Netflix and Amazon Instant Video. But, fans can still remain positive knowing that the show will indeed return. BET has renewed The Game for an 8th season! The series has not only survived the departure of major characters Melanie and Derwin, but its gone on for two seasons, soon to be 3 seasons, without them. This is a testament to the strong cast of characters, and distinct spirit this dramedy offers its viewers. Â BET has also made a minor revelation that should give us some idea of what is to come in season 8. They’ve announced that actress Brittany Daniels, who plays Kelly Pitts, will be returning in the next season.
