New Web Series ‘First’ Debuts On Issa Rae’s Channel Watch It Here!
An all new Black web series has just dropped on Issa Rae’s youtube channel. The series, titled First, is romantic, honest, and not what at all what we’re used to from Issa Rae Productions. That’s not to say that romance and honesty have been absent from her previous web series, but this series has a never before seen serious tone. Its not a comedy. On Instagram, Rae described it as “a modern day Love Jones.” Here’s the synopsis from YouTube:
Robin and Charles have known each other since Middle School, but have their first date in their late 20s. As the day of surprises unfolds, they quickly realize there is more than friendship in their future. Created by Jahmela Biggs, Directed by James Bland
