Clips of Andre 3000 As Jimi Hendrix In Upcoming Flick
The Real Jimi Hendrix
Andre Benajmin, better known to Outcast fans as Andre 3000, is playing the guitar rock legend Jimi Hendrix in an upcoming biopic titled All Is By My Side. The film will debut at the festival SXSW, and a few clips have been released prior to its premiere.
One of the clips features Hendrix in a smokey bar speaking privately with Linda Keith (Imogen Poots). Keith was the girlfriend of Rolling Stones star Keith Richards, and her introduction of Hendrix to Richards helped him gain recognition and kick off his career.
The second clip shows Hendrix speaking with a a musical manager who wants to sign him up with a record label. Watch the two clips below:
