Meagan Good Lands Role In NBC Living Dead TV Show ‘Bablyon Fields’
Meagan Good, who you can catch in Think Like A Man Too this summer, has landed an exciting television role. The 32-year-old actress will be appearing in a new NBC series titled Bablyon Fields according to THR. In the show, dead people in the town of Babylon, New York begin to come back to life. The regenerated bodies of hte dead are growing faster and stronger than ever before.  “Good will play Janine Beltran, a beautiful local doctor with an edge to her.” Apparently the show Babylon Fields was developed 7 years ago, but NBC dropped the project early on. I suppose with the success of shows like Sleepy Hollow and The Walking Dead, they feel its a good time to put something edgy on the air.
Last year Good played the lead character in the ABC drama Deception, which wasn’t renewed for a second season. It was an exciting time to see her take the lead in a prime time slot like Kerry Washington had so recently managed to do. This time Good won’t be playing the lead, but hopefully she will be a central character. Its great to see her back in action so soon after her last show ended.
Fans following the careers of Black actors and actresses now have two options in the horror department with Meagan Good appearing in Babylon Fields and Nicole Beharie appearing on Sleepy Hollow. Does this sound like something you will tune in to see?
