Nicole Beharie Is Inside March Issue of Vanity Fair Magazine.
Nicole Beharie is in the March issue of Vanity Fair magazine to promote 42, the upcoming Jackie Robinson biopic in which she stars as wife of the famed athlete. Beharie is a 27-year-old American actresses who attended The Julliard School’s drama conservatory. She’s been starring in films since 2008 when she appeared in American Violet and won an African-American Film Critics Award for Best Actress. In 2012 she starred in The Last Fall, and Woman Thou Art Loosed: On the 7th Day which aired on BET last night. Beharie is still relatively unknown, but it appears she may be a dark horse much like Kerry Washington. She makes good choices in roles, and is always praised for her performances. Her role in 42 will be her most significant yet. She last appeared on the big screen in Shame in 2011, but it was a small role. Fans will keep their fingers crossed in hope that she has more screen time in this film.Â
