In sunny Los Angeles, it’s La La’s birthday week and there’s no shortage of reminders that with time comes change, including aging. Part of La La’s birthday celebration is an afternoon of lunch and beauty treatments with Po and Dice. In an effort to stay forever young, the trio goes for face acupuncture & cupping, to placenta cream & snake venom. A playful interchange ends with Dice nearly tossing La La’s beloved Hermes Kelly bag in the pool, but all ends well and no designer handbags were harmed in the scuffle.
La La’s son Kiyan, 5, is becoming more independent by the day. It’s the little things that hit home with La La, from Kiyan swimming without his floaties to insisting on picking out his own clothes in the morning. Lucky for La La, her friends know just the thing to cheer her up and keep her focused on a bright future. Good friend Ciara helps La La resolve her struggle with seeing Kiyan growing up so fast by sharing her experience of growth and development as an artist and brand. She encourages La La to give just a little bit, in spite of her wanting Kiyan to remain a baby.
