La La’s Full Court Life Recap 3×03
In episode 3, the plot lines begin moving at a rapid clip. Fresh off the success of her Motives Cosmetics launch in London, La La gets a call from her stylist, Jason, who delivers the unexpected yet welcome news that he has tied the knot with his long-time partner, Adair.
La La’s views on gay marriage enter the conversation when she meets up with her friend Charlamagne, a popular radio personality. Charlamagne doesn’t believe in marriage at all, but points out that lack of support for gay couples is widespread in the African American community.
La La is quick to declare her support for gay marriage and emphasizes that she is proud to stand up for Jason and his partner. Indeed, she does so as she and her stylist reverse their roles so that La La helps him choose his tux!
We see that Dice is making an effort to steer the course of her party-promoting career, but she hits a roadblock early on in her efforts when she discovers that her ideal party spot, Greenhouse, would require $40,000. Dice gets down and discouraged, but La La surprises her with a spot at Polo Lounge, where Dice is able to pull off an awesome event.
A wedding and a party, and it’s only episode 3! La La’s Full Court Life is full of twists and new adventures.
