Tyler Perry’s 2 Shows For OWN Announced
Titles and descriptions for the first two shows that Tyler Perry is producing for the Oprah Winfrey Network have been announced.
Production will begin in early 2013, and the shows are expected to be ready to debut by mid 2013.
Here are the descriptions:
The Haves and the Have Nots is a drama about the dynamics of the affluent Cyrer family and the impoverished family of their housekeeper, Hanna, and the obstacles and secrets that exist within both.
Love Thy Neighbor, meanwhile, is a multicamera comedy set at Love’s Diner, where every day the menu serves up good food, great laughs, valuable life lessons and a lot of love for its zany neighbors.
Thanks  Hollywood Reporter for the announcement.
The Haves and Have Nots sounds like a cross between The Fresh Prince of Bel Air and Downton Abbey. Love Thy Neighbor sounds rather unique. Not too many shows are set in a diner.
Which of these two sounds most interesting to you?
