Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje Will Be One of Thor 2’s Villians
Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje has been cast in the Sequel to the 2011 Thor film, set to release in 2013. He will play Algrim the Strong who is reborn as Kurse.
According to this snippet Variety:
In the comicbooks, Algrim the Strong was the most powerful of a race of Dark Elves, who is coerced by Malekith to fight Thor. After he’s betrayed by Malekith and injured during a battle, Algrim is healed and transformed into a much more powerful being called Kurse, who is twice as a strong as Thor.
This will be an important role for Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje who has appeared on the small screen, and as minor characters in a few major motion pictures. Are you a fan of his previous roles such as Mr. Eko Lost?
