Debbie Allen To Re-appear and Direct Grey’s Anatomy
Debbie Allen, who plays plastic surgeon Jackson Avery’s (Jesse Williams) mother on the ABC Drama Grey’s Anatomy, will return to the show in season 9 this fall. According to TVGuide she will both direct and appear in the shows third episode. Last year she was a standout who helped carry one of the shows better episodes of the season. She also hooked up with Dr. Richard Webber whose wife is sick with severe Alzheimer. Despite the faux pas, she’s a strong woman with a powerful presence, and prolific career of her own as a urologist.
It’s rumored many of the cast members are leaving the series. Do you think she could become a permanent fixture and replace former characters on the show?
