Black Actor John Boyega Cast In Star Wars VII And It Looks Like He’s The Lead…
John Boyega, a 22-year-old Black British actor of Nigerian descent, has been cast in Star Wars Episode VII. It looks like he’s playing the lead character, but sources are refusing to state this outright. Star Wars VII director J.J. Abrams probably wants the character details underwraps, and entertainment sources do not want to get on his bad side. Especially not when the next few years will be filled with breaking news and leaks pertaining to the film. No media outlet wants to risk missing out on new information because Abram’s doesn’t trust them.
So what is certain? It is certain that Boyega has been cast along with returning trio Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, and Mark Hamill. Additionally newcomers including Oscar Isaac, Adam Driver, Andy Serkis (Gollum from Lord of The Rings), Domhnall Gleeson, Max von Sydow, Daisy Ridley , Anthony Daniels, Peter Mayhew, and Kenny Baker have made the finalized cast list.

It was called Attack The Block, and it centered around a gang of teenagers trying to defend themselves from alien invaders. But he’s moved on to do serious work, and appeared in the yet to be released Half A Yellow Sun beside Chiwetel Ejiofor. In a short span of time Boyega has gone from silly to serious to blockbuster. And he’s only 22 years-old. He’s the kind of actor that makes you ask “what am I doing in my life?” With that said, he must be good right?
