Anthony Anderson To Play Patriarch In ABC Black Family Sitcom Black-ish
ABC has picked up a pilot for a TV show titled Black-ish. The show is a half hour comedy in which actor Anthony Anderson will star as “an upper-middle class black man who struggles to raise his children with a sense of cultural identity despite constant contradictions and obstacles coming from his liberal wife, old-school father and his own assimilated, color-blind kids.(THR)”The show is written by Kenya Barris, a writer who has penned episodes of shows such as Soul Food, Girlfriends, and The Game.
